Allgemeine Beschreibung

2,6-Dichlorindophenolnatriumsalzhydrat ist ein blauer Redox-Farbstoff.

Anwendung

2,6-Dichlorindophenolnatriumsalzhydrat eignet sich für die Bestimmung von Vitamin C. 2,6-Dichlorindophenol (DCIP) kann in folgenden Studien verwendet werden:
  • Als Redox-Farbstoff zur Untersuchung der Effizienz von Gold-Nanopartikeln (Au-NP) für die Enzymaktivität der Glucose-Oxidase (GOx).[1]
  • Zur Herstellung von UVB-spezifischen Dosimetern.[2]
  • Quantifizierung von Vitamin C (L-Ascorbinsäure) in Fruchtsäften.[3]
  • Als Substrate im NQO1-Assay zur spektrophotometrischen Untersuchung der cytosolischen NQO1-Leberaktivität.[4]
  • Mitochondrialer Succinat-CoQ-Oxidoreduktase(-Komplex-II)-Aktivitäts-Assay.[5]

    1. Our Analytical Department has run absorbance spectra on many lots of D1878. Using 0.1 M phosphate buffer, pH 8.3 as the solvent, absorbance maxima in the range of 600-605 nm and a mM extinction coefficient of 18.0-19.7 have been reported.
