DTPA-BSA (Gd) (diethylenetriaminepentaacetic acid)-bis(stearylamide) (gadolinium salt)) is an amphiphilic molecule with paramagnetic property.[1]

Aplicação

DTPA-BSA (Gd) (diethylenetriaminepentaacetic acid)-bis(stearylamide) (gadolinium salt)) has been used:
  • in the preparation of nontargeting (NT) gadolinium peptide amphiphile micelles (PAMs) for the magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) of atherosclerotic lesions[2]
  • as a MRI agent in the preparation of lipid-like nanoparticles (LLNs) for small interfering RNA (siRNA) encapsulation[3]
  • as a MRI agent in the preparation of paramagnetic saposin C and dioleylphosphatidylserine (SapC-DOPS) vesicles for imaging glioblastoma multiforme (GBM) tumors[4]

Gd-DTPA-BSA is useful as magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) agent and the gadolinium ion enables the generation of bright images by lowering the longitudinal relaxation time.[3]
