Descrição geral

O (3-aminopropil)trietoxisilano (APTES) é usado como aminossilano, que é usado principalmente como dispersor. O APTES conecta um grupo amina ao silano funcional para bioconjugação.[1][2]

Aplicação

A monocamada auto-organizada (SAM) de APTES pode ser usada para melhorar a adesão de flocos de grafeno e SiO2 para permitir um melhor contato com eletrodos metálicos. Esses eletrodos podem ser usados como ferramentas de resposta elétrica para aplicações em biossensoriamento.[3] Pode ser utilizado para funcionalizar silano-diazirina para aplicações de biossensor de fibra óptica.[4] A superfície de microcarregadores ocos (hollow microcarriers, HMC) pode ser modificada com APTES, o que pode ser utilizado para medicamentos regenerativos e células recombinantes na indústria biofarmacêutica.[5]
Forma derivado aminopropílico de vidro, um adsorvente para cromatografia de afinidade. Usado para preparar lâminas carregadas positivamente, adequadas para uso em diversos procedimentos de imuno-histoquímica e hibridização in situ.[6] Recentemente, o (3-aminopropil)trietoxisilano foi usado para preparar nanopartículas de sílica com adição de corante, com mínima agregação e mínima ligação não específica a biomoléculas.[7]
Usado para preparar uma série de filmes de compósitos ternários de poliimida/SiO/polidifenilsiloxano com boa transparência óptica.[8]

    1. Products may be shipped at a different temperature than the recommended long-term storage temperature. If the product quality is sensitive to short-term exposure to conditions other than the recommended long-term storage, it will be shipped on wet or dry-ice. If the product quality is NOT affected by short-term exposure to conditions other than the recommended long-term storage, it will be shipped at ambient temperature. As shipping routes are configured for minimum transit times, shipping at ambient temperature helps control shipping costs for our customers.   2. How can I determine the shelf life / expiration / retest date of this product?

    1. If this product has an expiration or retest date, it will be shown on the Certificate of Analysis (COA, CofA). If there is no retest or expiration date listed on the product's COA, we do not have suitable stability data to determine a shelf life. For these products, the only date on the COA will be the release date; a retest, expiration, or use-by-date will not be displayed.
      For all products, we recommend handling per defined conditions as printed in our product literature and website product descriptions. We recommend that products should be routinely inspected by customers to ensure they perform as expected.
      For products without retest or expiration dates, our standard warranty of 1 year from the date of shipment is applicable.

    1. 440140 is a neat material of (3-Aminopropyl)triethoxysilane (APTES). As per Section 7 of SDS: https://www.sigmaaldrich.com/sds/aldrich/440140?userType=anonymous, it is recommended to handle the material in inert gas environment.

    1. Unfortunately, there is no information on the minimum coverage of this material. It would depend on the coating method, including solvent, temperature, etc.

  5. Can this product be used to silanize a surface by using silane deposition via gas-phase evaporation?

    1. This material has not been tested for use in silane deposition. APTES is referenced in the literature frequently in the vapor phase deposition of biosensors. The suitability would have to be determined experimentally.
