How is shipping temperature determined? And how is it related to the product storage temperature?

Products may be shipped at a different temperature than the recommended long-term storage temperature. If the product quality is sensitive to short-term exposure to conditions other than the recommended long-term storage, it will be shipped on wet or dry-ice. If the product quality is NOT affected by short-term exposure to conditions other than the recommended long-term storage, it will be shipped at ambient temperature. As shipping routes are configured for minimum transit times, shipping at ambient temperature helps control shipping costs for our customers. How long does it last in solution and how long does it last in powder form?

This product is not assigned an expiration date, however, batches are retested every three years while stock is available. The material is soluble in chloroform at 100 mg/mL, ethanol at 30 mg/mL, DMSO at 20 mg/mL, and Dimethyl Formamide at 20 mg/mL. While it is recommended to purge stock solutions with inert gas, the long term storage and stability have not been determined. Upon dilution with aqueous buffers or medium, working solutions should not be stored longer than one day.

What is the solubility?

This product is tested for solubility at 100 mg/mL in Chloroform. The item is also soluble in DMSO (purged with inert gas) at 20 mg/mL. Other sources report that this material is also soluble in Ethanol.
