Octaethylene glycol monododecyl ether is a nonionic detergent.

Application

Reinigungsmittel, das zum Untersuchen von Membranproteinen in naturgetreuem Zustand, z. B. ATPase, verwendet wird. Wird zum Untersuchen von gemischten Mizellen auf bei neutralem pH-Wert wirkende Lipoxygenase und zur funktionellen Rekonstitution von Influenzavirushüllen eingesetzt.
