SCT275 is used to detect late phase autophagy in live cells. This small hydrophobic probe molecule is plasma membrane-permeable and incorporates in to the autophagosome. Following lysosome-autophagosome fusion, increased acidity in the autolysosome enhances fluorescence signal of the BioTracker™ Green Late-Phase Autophagy Live Cell Probe.SPECTRAL CHARACTERISTICS: Excitation λ: 405 nmEmission λ: 525 nmRecommended laser/filter:Ex 350 - 450 nmEm 500 nm - 560 nm

Zielbeschreibung
Autophagy is an intracellular degradation process, where dysfunctional proteins and organelles are degraded by a system of organelles. Aggregated dysfunctional proteins are surrounded by the double membrane to form an autophagosome. DALGreen, which is a small hydrophobic molecule, passes the plasma membrane of live cells and is incorporated in the autophagosome.
Lagerung und Haltbarkeit
Store at -20 °C, protected from light.
Sonstige Hinweise
SCT275 is a small hydrophobic molecule live cell probe that localizes to the autolysosome. The probe fluoresces green as the autolysosome environment acidifies, enabling the assessment of autophagy by fluorescence microscopy and flow cytometry.Add 20 uL DMSO to tube of SCT275 and pipet to dissolve to make a 1 mM stock solution. Dilute with culture medium to 0.1 - 1.0 uM to make working solution.
