Beschreibung

General description

Ein potentes Immunsuppressivum. Zeigt eine 10- bis 100-fach stärkere immunsuppressive Wirkung als Cyclosporin A. Hemmt wirksam die Serin-Palmitoyltransferase (SPT; K_i = 280 pM) und blockiert dadurch die Ceramid-Synthese. Unterbricht die Substrathaftung von Melanomzellen. Hemmt die Zellproliferation und induziert die Apoptose in der IL-2-abhängigen murinen zytotoxischen T-Lymphozyten-Zelllinie CTLL-2.
