Beschreibung

General description

Ein zellpermeables Flavonoid, das entzündungshemmende, antidiabetische und krebshemmende Eigenschaften aufweist. Wirkt als nicht-ATP-kompetitiver MEK1-Inhibitor (IC₅₀<;3 µ;M) und als ATP-kompetitiver Inhibitor von CKI, CKII, IR, MLCK, PKA und PKC (K_i = 9,0 µ;M, 0,6 µ;M, 2,6 µ;M, 1,7 µ;M, 27,5 µ;M bzw. 12,1 µ;M) sowie PI 3-Kα; und PIM-1 (IC₅₀ = 1,8 µ;M bzw. 0,78 µ;M). Hemmt Berichten zufolge die Aktivitäten von Phosphodiesterase 1–4 (IC₅₀<;40 µ;M) und MMP-2 (IC₅₀<;24 µ;M in verschiedenen Kolorektalkarzinomzellen) und blockiert den TNFα;-vermittelten NF-κ;B-Signalweg (bei 50 µ;M in ECV304-Zellen) und den insulinstimulierten Glukosetransport (K_i = ~33,5 µ;M in Adipozyten von Ratten). Induziert ferner die Apoptose in HL-60-Leukämiezellen mit einem IC₅₀-Wert von 43 µ;M.
