Allgemeine Beschreibung

Method: photometric 0.20 - 4.00 mg/l Ca Spectroquant^®

This Spectroquant^® Calcium Reagent Test allows the accurate quantification of the calcium content in aqueous samples.

Method applied: In alkaline solution calcium ions react with a phthalein derivative to form a violet dye which is determined photometrically. The 8-hydroxyquinoline contained in reagent Ca-1 prevents interferences by magnesium and iron.

The Spectroquant^® Reagent Test Kits contain highly stable, ready-to-use reagent mixtures to perform the analysis according to the procedure described in the accompanying instruction leaflet.
