Allgemeine Beschreibung

Das PAN-Molekül hat starke polare Nitrilgruppen. Es ist generell relativ unlöslich. PAN-basierte Kohlenstofffasern sind sehr fest im Vergleich zu anderen polymeren Präkursoren. Bei Hitzebehandlung kann das Molekül eine hohe Kohlenstoffausbeute generieren und wärmebeständige, hochorientierte, graphitartige molekulare Strukturen entstehen lassen. Bei der Generation von Kohlenstofffasern aus PAN-basierten Fasern werden drei Prozesse kombiniert: Stabilisierung, Karbonisierung und Graphitisierung.[1]

Anwendung

Polyacrylnitril (PAN) wird verwendet als polymerer Kohlenstoff-Präkursor bei der Bildung von Kohlenstofffasern,[2][3][4] nanogesponnenen aktivierten Kohlenstoffmaterialien mit Meso-Makro-Poren,[5] Rußzusätzen.[6]Diese werden konsekutiv in der Wasserstoffspeicherung,[2][3][4] EMI-Abschirmung,[6] Elektrochemie, Trennverfahren verwendet.[7] Es sind möglicherweise auch Anwendungen in PAN-basierten, einwandigen Kohlenstoffnanoröhrchen-Kompositen möglich.[7]

    1. Products may be shipped at a different temperature than the recommended long-term storage temperature. If the product quality is sensitive to short-term exposure to conditions other than the recommended long-term storage, it will be shipped on wet or dry-ice. If the product quality is NOT affected by short-term exposure to conditions other than the recommended long-term storage, it will be shipped at ambient temperature. As shipping routes are configured for minimum transit times, shipping at ambient temperature helps control shipping costs for our customers.
