原則

荧光细胞内ROS检测试剂盒提供了一种灵敏的、一步荧光检测方法,可在1小时内检测活细胞内的ROS(特别是超氧化物和羟基自由基)。ROS与定位于细胞质的荧光传感器发生反应,产生荧光产物(λex = 490/λem = 520 nm)产物,与ROS含量成正比。该试剂盒可以采用96孔或384孔多孔板形式,并使用荧光显微镜或荧光微孔板读板仪进行读取。

  1. How is shipping temperature determined? And how is it related to the product storage temperature?

    1. Products may be shipped at a different temperature than the recommended long-term storage temperature. If the product quality is sensitive to short-term exposure to conditions other than the recommended long-term storage, it will be shipped on wet or dry-ice. If the product quality is NOT affected by short-term exposure to conditions other than the recommended long-term storage, it will be shipped at ambient temperature. As shipping routes are configured for minimum transit times, shipping at ambient temperature helps control shipping costs for our customers.   2. How can I determine the shelf life / expiration / retest date of this product?

    1. If this product has an expiration or retest date, it will be shown on the Certificate of Analysis (COA, CofA). If there is no retest or expiration date listed on the product's COA, we do not have suitable stability data to determine a shelf life. For these products, the only date on the COA will be the release date; a retest, expiration, or use-by-date will not be displayed.
      For all products, we recommend handling per defined conditions as printed in our product literature and website product descriptions. We recommend that products should be routinely inspected by customers to ensure they perform as expected.
      For products without retest or expiration dates, our standard warranty of 1 year from the date of shipment is applicable.

  3. Does the fluorescence produced by ROS resist PFA fixation? Is it detergent resistant?

    1. This kit is intended to be used on living cultured cells. It is not recommended for use on paraformaldehyde (PFA) fixed cells or tissue, or on cells or tissue that have been treated with a detergent or surfactant.

  4. What is the mechanism for detecting ROS? Specifically, what component in the ROS Detection Reagent enables the detection of ROS upon their formation?

    1. The component A ROS green is a non-conjugated compound that is concealed with a ROS-cleavable blocking group. Upon the ROS reaction, the blocking group is cleaved by ROS to release a strongly fluorescent dye. The ROS production is proportional to the concentration of the fluorophore.
