生化／生理作用

硝唑尼特是丙酮酸-铁氧还蛋白氧化还原酶(PFOR)抑制剂，FDA批准的抗寄生虫药(2002)。近期研究(C & EN Sept. 14, 2009, p. 28)表明，硝唑尼特可杀死非复制和复制的结核菌，未检测到明显的耐药性。

硝唑尼特是丙酮酸:铁氧还蛋白氧化还原酶(PFOR)的抑制剂；最近发现显示，这种抗菌剂可杀死非复制型和复制型分枝杆菌。
