This product is pooled from a bovine source. The bile salt mixture is composed of approximately 50% each of sodium deoxycholate and sodium cholate. The exact composition is not tested. The manufacturing process is consistent, however, given the nature of the source, some variability between lots is expected. The degree of variability does not negatively impact microbial growth.
