吡维胺盐水合物在急变期慢性髓性白血病 (BP-CML) [1]和人胚胎肾细胞 (HEK293) 中可作为酪蛋白激酶α (CK1α) 的激动剂。[2]它还可用作维尔姆斯瘤中的β-连环蛋白的抑制剂。[3]
