聚乙二醇（PEG）是一种亲水性聚合物。它可以通过环氧乙烷的阴离子开环聚合反应而进行合成，产生不同的分子量和端基。当交联成网络时，PEG可具有高含水量，形成“水凝胶”。聚乙二醇（PEG）不会引发免疫反应，是一种理想的生物学应用材料。

应用

聚乙二醇(PEG)可与非离子表面活性剂吐温80共同官能化修饰磁性纳米颗粒。聚乙二醇官能化可增强磁纳米颗粒的生物相容性。还能降低表面电荷，维持纳米颗粒的磁性。

聚乙二醇可用作药物最终剂型的外部包衣，为原料药提供防潮保护。例如，drop printing（液滴打印）技术可使聚乙二醇包覆在萘普生固体分散体上。PEG包衣可保护固体分散体，避免潮湿导致的结晶加快，并增强稳定性。

以聚乙二醇作为有机改性剂，通过溶胶-凝胶技术可制备纳米结构的羟磷灰石(HAP)。聚乙二醇可影响羟磷灰石形态。高温下，柔性更高的聚乙二醇分子形成更大的羟基磷灰石片。低温下，柔性较低的聚乙二醇胶体形成纳米结构的羟磷灰石。

聚乙二醇还可作为泻药使用。

  1. How can I determine the shelf life / expiration / retest date of this product?

    1 answer

    1. If this product has an expiration or retest date, it will be shown on the Certificate of Analysis (COA, CofA). If there is no retest or expiration date listed on the product's COA, we do not have suitable stability data to determine a shelf life. For these products, the only date on the COA will be the release date; a retest, expiration, or use-by-date will not be displayed.
      For all products, we recommend handling per defined conditions as printed in our product literature and website product descriptions. We recommend that products should be routinely inspected by customers to ensure they perform as expected.
      For products without retest or expiration dates, our standard warranty of 1 year from the date of shipment is applicable.

  2. How is shipping temperature determined? And how is it related to the product storage temperature?

    1. Products may be shipped at a different temperature than the recommended long-term storage temperature. If the product quality is sensitive to short-term exposure to conditions other than the recommended long-term storage, it will be shipped on wet or dry-ice. If the product quality is NOT affected by short-term exposure to conditions other than the recommended long-term storage, it will be shipped at ambient temperature.
