聚乙二醇(PEG)是环氧乙烷和水通过缩合反应产生的聚合物。当暴露在空气中时,PEG易被氧化降解。尽量减少PEG暴露于高度和/或暴露于氧气或添加抗氧化剂,可以限制降解量。PEG在储存过程中不会水解或变质。PEG不支持霉菌生长。
