マイクロ反応容器は、少量の試料を簡単に取り出せるように内部が円錐形になっています。厚肉のホウケイ酸塩ガラス製であり、表面がPTFEである赤色のゴム製セプタムとキャップが付いています。このガラス製品は、オートクレーブや遠心分離機にかけることができます。セプタム材料はオートクレーブできません。セプタムの最高動作温度は121°C未満です。
