アプリケーション
ヤギで産生された抗ウサギIgG（全分子）-FITC抗体は、免疫組織化学的検査および間接的免疫蛍光法に使用されています。
生物化学的／生理学的作用
免疫グロブリンG（IgG）は、細菌、真菌およびウイルスが引き起こす感染から防御します。母親のIgGは胎盤を通して胎児に受け継がれますが、これは新生児の感染症に対する免疫防御にとって不可欠です。IgG1欠乏は、低ガンマグロブリン血症の原因となります。IgG2が欠乏すると、細菌感染に対する感受性が増大します。IgG3はエフェクター機能を媒介します。IgG4は無症候性感染症と関連しています。IgG抗体は治療に使える可能性がきわめて大きく、そのFc領域は治療用抗体の開発に関わっています。

物理的形状
15 mMアジ化ナトリウムを保存剤として含有する、0.01 Mリン酸緩衝生理食塩水（pH 7.4）として提供されます。
