物性
N末端Aspを欠失させた組み換え構造体です。X線結晶解析により天然型アルブミンと構造的に同等です。N-末端Aspは、Cu2+およびNi2+の主なキレーション部位です。その欠失により、重要な抗原決定基が除去され、そのタンパク質は低アレルギー性となります。Cys34でも阻害されており、安定性、モノマー含有量、均一性が改善されています。

This recombinant protein contains 584 amino acid residues (66,357 Dalton) derived from the prototypical human serum albumin sequence, Gene Bank Accession No. M12523, with a single deletion of the N-terminal residue (Asp). The N-terminal deletion of the Asp reduces the affinity by which nickel and copper bind to the protein. Otherwise, the biological properties are identical as for the full-length protein.
