生化/生理作用
NPM1（核仁磷酸蛋白1）是一种核仁多功能蛋白，编码普遍表达的核仁磷蛋白。它位于细胞核中。蛋白作为分子伴侣从细胞核不断移动到细胞质。它主要参与细胞增殖和凋亡。NPM1基因中的突变会导致细胞遗传学疾病，即正常急性髓样白血病（CN-AML）。已经报道了NPM1基因在几种人类癌细胞中的过表达，例如结肠癌，卵巢癌，前列腺癌和胃癌。也有人提出NPM1可能在肝癌中起调节作用。
