应用
环丙沙星在临床中广泛用于对付革兰阳性和阴性菌,治疗皮肤、眼睛、泌尿道、下呼吸道、胃肠道等多个部位的感染。 还可联合多种抗菌药物对抗细菌生物膜和多重耐药微生物。另外,开发的衍生物可合成新型抗菌药物,疗效增强且具有抗菌、抗真菌、抗HIV、抗肿瘤和抗TB等各种抗微生物活性。

环丙沙星的作用机制是 通过抑制DNA促旋酶(gyrase)和影响细菌细胞壁来抑制细菌DNA合成 。
