Il kit è costituito da una cartuccia Quantum® IX e un filtro finale Millipak® 40.
La cartuccia per il trattamento finale Quantum® IX contiene una combinazione di terreni di purificazione attentamente selezionati per rimuovere tracce di contaminanti che influiscono su specifiche applicazioni.
La cartuccia è realizzata a partire da polipropilene e polietilene, adatti alla produzione di acqua ultrapura e con i requisiti per bassi livelli di estraibili organici e ionici.
Il filtro Millipak® 40 produce acqua priva di particolato e batteri per soddisfare i criteri rigorosi delle applicazioni scientifiche.

Il kit contiene resine Organex e Ionex per la rimozione di tracce di composti organici e ioni.
Caratteristiche e vantaggi
- La cartuccia per il trattamento finale Quantum® IX è stata progettata per rimuovere dall′acqua ultrapura tracce di composti organici e ioni
- il filtro Millipak® 40 è realizzato con membrane Durapore® PVDF, che offrono portate e rese elevate, bassi livelli di estraibili e ampia compatibilità chimica.
- Fa da supporto alla membrana un disco rigido in plastica con canali che garantiscono un elevato flusso dell′acqua e resistenza alle variazioni di pressione senza il rischio di rottura della membrana.
- I filtri a membrana Millipak® utilizzano un tipo di disco unico nel suo genere, ben impilato, che riduce al minimo il volume di ingombro e lo spargimento di particelle.
- Il filtro Millipak® 40 si collega all′uscita del punto di rilascio dell′acqua, come i POD dei sistemi di purificazione dell′acqua Milli-Q.®.

For high-flow systems, please keep in mind that all consumable changes must be approved by a 3-digit code that only the person in charge of the system knows.

Can consumables be opened and refilled?

Unfortunately, this is not possible because of safety issues and the need to guarantee the quality of consumables and their interior purification components. Our consumables are manufactured in an ISO 9001-certified facility France in agreement with high quality standards.

If I have a final filter that I use only occasionally (e.g., Biopak®) and have another filter (e.g. Millipak®) that I most of the time, can I keep the 'occasional-use' filter for use again at a later time?

It is not possible to re-use a filter that has been used and then removed because air intake during replacement creates an airlock and blocks water passing through the filter. If you regularly need two different filters, we recommend using two POD dispensers.

How frequently do the various consumables need to be changed?

The frequency that consumables must be changed depends on the system's usage (treated water volume) and on the consumables themselves (time of usage). In order to ensure the quality of water and your results, the consumables should be replaced when the system alerts you.
