Allgemeine Beschreibung

o-Phenylendiamindihydrochlorid (OPD) ist ein chromogenes Substrat, das in Enzyme-linked-Immunosorbent-Assay(ELISA)-Verfahren eingesetzt werden kann, da es Meerrettichperoxidasekonjugate nutzt. Das Substrat produziert ein lösliches Endprodukt mit orange-brauner Farbe, das bei 450 nm spektrofotometrisch gemessen werden kann. Die OPD-Reaktion kann mit 3 N HCl oder 3 mol/l H2SO4 gestoppt und bei 492 nm gemessen werden.

Anwendung

o-Phenylenediamine dihydrochloride has been used as a peroxidase substrate in enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) procedures.[1][2][3][4]
