Trihexyltetradecylphosphonium bromide is a phosphonium-based ionic liquid that can be used as a recyclable reaction medium for Heck cross-coupling reactions.[1] It can also be used to prepare supported liquid membranes (SLMs) for gas separation processes.[2]
