Anwendung

Poly(4-vinylpyridin-co-styrol) kann wie folgt verwendet werden:
  • Als Vorläufer für die Herstellung von ionischem Polymer mit photochromischen Seitengruppen mittels Umsetzung mit 1,3,3-Trimethyl-6′-bromhexyloxyspiro[2H]-indol-2,3′-[3H]-naphth[2,1-b][1,4]oxazin.
  • Als permselektive Membran bei der Herstellung von Verbundmaterialelektroden für Glucosesensoren.
  • Zum Herstellen eines gemischten Redox-Polymers [RuIII(edta)(OH2)(py)]2[RuII(NH3)5(py)], das zu sechs Redoxzuständen wechseln kann.
