Description générale

Le pack de prétraitement Progard® TS2 est conçu pour prétraiter l'eau du robinet avant sa purification par osmose inverse (OI). L'eau du robinet est prétraitée en étant efficacement débarrassée de ses contaminants (chlore libre, grosses particules, gros colloïdes, composés organiques) et adoucie. La membrane d'OI est ainsi protégée d'un colmatage organique, d'une oxydation par le chlore et d'un entartrage. La durée de vie et les performances du système de purification d'eau sont également optimisées.
Protection contre l'entartrage grâce aux polyphosphates. Charbon actif imprégné d'argent à double action : réduction du taux de chlore libre et protection bactériostatique

Application

L'eau purifiée produite par les systèmes de purification d'eau Milli-Q®, AFS®, RiOs™ et Elix® équipés du pack de prétraitement Progard® TS2 est utilisée dans diverses applications de laboratoire.

Caractéristiques et avantages

  • Protège la membrane d'osmose inverse d'un entartrage, d'un colmatage organique ou d'une oxydation par le chlore.
  • Les polyphosphates préviennent l'encrassement.
  • Le charbon actif imprégné d'argent réduit le taux de chlore libre tout en prévenant la prolifération bactérienne.

  • L'étiquette de radio-identification (RFID) e-Sure permet une traçabilité totale et la visualisation instantanée des paramètres du conditionnement.

    1. Progard® TS2 Pretreatment Pack is not classified in Europe as a hazardous substance in regards to the substance definition in Article 3 of the Regulation (EC) 1907/2006 of 18 December 2006 concerning the Registration, Evaluation, Authorization and Restriction of Chemical (REACH) and in regards to the hazardous substance and mixtures classification criteria from the Annex I of the Regulation (EC) 1272/2008 of 16 December 2008 on classification, labeling and packaging of substance and mixtures.
      Therefore, this Purification Cartridge do not require in Europe any Safety Data Sheet (SDS) to be in accordance with the Regulation (EC) 1907/2006 and the Regulation (EC) 1272/2008.

      Progard® TS2 Pretreatment Pack do not require a Safety Data Sheet (SDS) under the Occupational Health and Safety Administration Standard entitled “Hazard Communication” 29 CFR 1910.1200 for the United States of America.
      Progard® TS2 Pretreatment Pack do not meet the criteria of a W.H.M.I.S. classification of a controlled product. As a result, a W.H.M.I.S. Material Safety Data Sheet is not required in Canada for this product.

      Disposable of wastes should be in accordance with applicable regional, national, and local laws and regulations.

  2. What are the storage conditions for this product?

    1. Recommended storage conditions: temperatures from 5 to 30°C; humidity between 10 and 80%. The original sealed bag (if provided) must be kept intact before the first use to protect the purification element from foreign matter.

For high-flow systems, please keep in mind that all consumable changes must be approved by a 3-digit code that only the person in charge of the system knows.

  7. Can consumables be opened and refilled?

    1. Unfortunately, this is not possible because of safety issues and the need to guarantee the quality of consumables and their interior purification components. Our consumables are manufactured in an ISO 9001-certified facility France in agreement with high quality standards.

  9. How frequently do the various consumables need to be changed?

    1. The frequency that consumables must be changed depends on the system's usage (treated water volume) and on the consumables themselves (time of usage). In order to ensure the quality of water and your results, the consumables should be replaced when the system alerts you.

    Works well

    The system works well producing type three water but the Progard ts2 pack needs replacement after only four months service ( 100L produced) this seems a bit short.

    Expensive and often faulty

    This is the second time in three years (~6 packs), that the article is defect and needs to be replaced.
