Descrição geral
Hexahistidine tag (His-tag) consists of four to six histidines fused genetically. It is widely used to purify proteins by immobilized metal-ion affinity chromatography (IMAC).
Especificidade
This antibody is a Human-Rabbit chimeric antibody, made by fusion of the antigen binding region (variable domains of the heavy and light chains, VH and VL) of rabbit anti-HisTag monoclonal antibody (RM146), with the constant domain of Human IgG1. The antibody is recognized only by an anti-Human IgG secondary antibody.
Imunogênio
Mixture of a peptide with 6xHis-Tag at the N-terminus and another peptide with 6xHis-Tag at the C-terminus.

In neurodegenerative diseases such as Alzheimer's disease, Parkinson's disease, multiple sclerosis and amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, neuroinflammation can lead to blood-brain barrier (BBB) breakdown. After intravenous or intra-arterial injection into mice, endothelial progenitor cells (EPCs) home to the damaged BBB to
The failures of anti-β-amyloid immunotherapies suggested that the very low fraction of injected antibodies reaching the brain parenchyma due to the filtering effect of the BBB may be a reason for the lack of therapeutic effect. However, there is no
