Gastric inhibitory peptide (GIP) or the glucose-dependent insulinotropic polypeptide is a gastrointestinal peptide hormone[1] and belongs to the glucagon superfamily.[2] It is released after the absorption of glucose or fat by the duodenal endocrine K cells. GIP is involved in glucose-induced insulin secretion. This Rat/Mouse GIP (total) ELISA is used to quantify GIP levels in metabolism and endocrine research.[1]

Aplicação

Rat/Mouse GIP (total) ELISA has been used to measure the levels of total GIP in rat plasma[3][4] and serum samples.[5]
