A stable-labeled internal standard suitable for meprobamate testing or isotope dilution methods by GC/MS or LC/MS in clinical toxicology, drug testing, pain prescription monitoring or forensic analysis. Marketed under the trade names Milltown, Meprospan, and Equanil, meprobamate is a minor tranquilizer used for the treatment of anxiety and muscle spasms.
