Aplicação

BTTAA is a next-generation, water-soluble ligand for the copper(I)-catalyzed azide-alkyne cycloaddition (CuAAC) that dramatically accelerates reaction rates and suppresses cell cytotoxicity. The biocompatibility and fast kinetics of BTTAA are advancements from water-insoluble TBTA and are desirable for bio conjugation in diverse chemical biology experiments.

Questions

  1. Regarding 906328 BTTAA as a copper ligand, can it be mixed with CuSO4 to make a stock solution? If so:
    1. What molecular ratio of Copper VS BTTAA would you recommend for the stock solution?
    2. Under what condition(s) would you recommend storing the stock solution?

    1 answer
    1. BTTAA can indeed be mixed with CuSO4 to create a stock solution, which can then be employed in copper-based click chemistry reactions.
