Ribosomal protein S26 (RPS26) is a component of small 40S subunit of ribosome. It is encoded by the gene mapped to human chromosome 12q13.2.

Anwendung

Ribosomal protein S26 (RPS26) negatively regulates splicing of its pre-mRNA. Mutation in the gene leads to Diamond-Blackfan Anemia.
