Application
Zur Verwendung als präzipitierendes Substrat in der Immunhistologie und beim Immunblotting zur Lokalisierung der Peroxidase-Aktivität entwickelt. DAB ist das bevorzugte Immunhistologiesubstrat, weil es eine intensive braun-schwarze Färbung erzeugt, die gegen Alkohol resistent ist. Mit DAB gefärbte Objektträger können getrocknet, in Harzmedien fixiert und zur späteren Verwendung eingelagert werden. SIGMAFAST™-DAB-Tabletten erfordern keine zusätzlichen Puffer oder Schritte für das Ansetzen einer aktiven Substratlösung. Die Tabletten sind einzeln in Folienpackungen verpackt.
Preparation Note
Each tablet set dissolved in 5 mL deionized water yields a ready-to-use buffered solution containing DAB and urea hydrogen peroxide.

D4293, SIGMAFAST™ 3,3′-Diaminobenzidine tablets, can be used for WB on PVDF membranes, please see attached reference paper stating below: "The PVDF was then collected and rinsed 3 times for 5–10 min each wash with TBS.
