Biochem/physiol Actions

(S)-(+)-Camptothecin bindet irreversibel an den DNA-Topoisomerase-I-Komplex, hemmt die Reassoziation der DNA nach der Spaltung durch Topoisomerase I und fängt das Enzym in einer kovalenten Bindung mit der DNA ein. Der Enzymkomplex wird durch das 26S-Proteasom ubiquiniert und zerstört, wodurch die zelluläre Topoisomerase I abgebaut wird. Blockiert den Zellzyklus in der S-Phase bei niedriger Dosis und induziert Apoptose in einer großen Anzahl von normalen und Tumorzelllinien durch zellzyklusabhängige und zellzyklusunabhängige Prozesse.

    1. This product is soluble in DMSO (10 mg/mL). At higher concentrations, heating is required for the product to dissolve completely (approximately 10 minutes at 95°C), but some precipitation occurs upon cooling to room temperature. It is also soluble in 1 N NaOH (50 mg/mL) and methanol (50 mg/mL).
