The Lipase Substrate is a liquid, aqueous solution containing 4.5 mM triolein, 1 M NaCl, and 13% (w/v) Triton™ X-100. This substrate is suitable for titration assays of microbial lipases with emulsified trioleoyl glycerol. The fatty acids released during the assay are titrated with a pH stat.
