Allgemeine Beschreibung

Creatinine is a by-product produced during the metabolism of creatine phosphate in muscle. It is excreted through urine, and serum creatinine level is most common indicator of renal health.[1][2]

Anwendung

Creatinine may be used as a pharmaceutical reference standard for the determination of the analyte in biological fluids by spectrophotometry,[2] and high performance liquid chromatography.[2][3][4][5]
