Allgemeine Beschreibung

Cirsilineol is a bioactive flavone isolated from the herb of Artemisia vestita Wall., widely used to treat a variety of inflammatory conditions such as contact dermatitis, rheumatoid arthritis and sepsis. Cirsilineol exhibits anti-proliferative activity, which is used against different cancer cells by inducing apoptosis.

Anwendung

Cirsilineol may be used as an analytical reference standard for the quantification of the analyte in vervain samples and extracts of Teucrium polium using chromatography techniques.
