Procion Red is a monoazo dye, that is highly soluble in water. It is used for dyeing cellulose, nylon, silk and wool.[1]

Anwendung

Procion Red has been used in the visualization of osteocyte canalicular system.[2] It has been used as an adsorbate in the biosorption by Bacillus subtilis.[1]
