General description

zellpermeables, tumorförderndes Sesquiterpenlacton, das Ca²⁺ durch Hemmung der endoplasmatischen retikulären Ca²⁺-ATPase freisetzt (IC₅₀ = 4–13 nM). Erhöht nicht die Inositolphosphate und hat keine signifikante Wirkung auf die Proteinkinase C. Erhöht den Ca²⁺-abhängigen Na⁺ -Einstrom in menschlichen Blutplättchen in einer dosisabhängigen Weise. Aktiviert die Apoptose in Ratten-Thymozyten und induziert die Apoptose in menschlichen Hepatomazellen, hemmt insbesondere die Fusion von Autophagosomen mit Lysosomen und induziert die Autophagie.
