Beschreibung

General description

Ein zellpermeables Oxadiazolylchinolincarboxamid, das nachweislich die DNA-Bindungsaktivität von STAT3, aber nicht von STAT1, STAT5a oder STAT5b, in Kernextrakten von IL-6-stimulierten MDA-MB-468-Zellen selektiv unterdrückt (um 74 % bei 50 µM) und die IL-6-stimulierte STAT3-Dimerisierung in HEK293-Zellen verhindert (um 50 % bzw. 99 %, bzw. bei 74 und 100 µM) und hemmen die Expression von STAT3-Zielgenen, c-myc, Cyclin D1 und Survivin, sowohl in Kulturen in vitro (wirksame Konzentration = 50 µM) und in SCC3-Tumoren in Mäusen in vivo (160 mg/kg/Tag; p.o.).
