General description
Native Ascorbat-Oxidase aus Cucurbita-Spezies. Eine multi-Kupfer-haltige Oxidase, welche die Oxidation von Ascorbinsäure zu Dehydroascorbinsäure katalysiert. AO katalysiert die Vier-Elektronen-Reduktion von Disauerstoff zu Wasser mit einer gleichzeitigen Ein-Elektron-Oxidation des reduzierenden organischen Substrats. Geeignet für das Entfernen einer Störung durch Ascorbinsäure in klinischen Assays und zur Bestimmung von Ascorbinsäure. Wird durch Azid, Dithiocarbamat und Thiocyanat gehemmt.
Preparation Note
Nach der Rekonstitution im Kühlschrank aufbewahren (4 °C). Diese Stammlösungen sind bei 4 °C bis zu 3 Wochen haltbar.
Other Notes
Eine Einheit ist als die Menge an Enzym, die je Minute bei 37 °C und einem pH-Wert von 5,6 1,0 µmol Ascorbinsäure oxidiert, definiert.

Approximately how many mg of protein is in the 1000U vial of SKU 189724-1000U? For my purposes, I am not interested in enzymatic activity, only protein mass. I need more than 2mg up to ~10mg of this protein.
