生化／生理作用

泛昔洛韦是一种抗病毒药；通过鸟嘌呤类似物治疗疱疹病毒感染。

泛昔洛韦是一种抗逆转录病毒鸟苷类似物，用于治疗疱疹病毒感染和乙肝。泛昔洛韦可迅速转化为喷昔洛韦。病毒胸苷激酶将喷昔洛韦磷酸化为单磷酸形式，然后细胞激酶又将其转换为三磷酸喷昔洛韦。喷昔洛韦三磷酸可竞争性抑制病毒 DNA 聚合酶，从而抑制病毒复制。长时间服用会形成耐药性；这通常表现为筛选出了一批 DNA 聚合酶基因逆转录酶结构域突变的预先存在的耐药性菌株。
