Galanin (2-11) is a galanin receptor type 2 agonist.

生化/生理作用

Studies in mice show that injection of galanin (2-11) has anticonvulsant activity in seizure affected animals with an intact DR (dorsal root)–hippocampal serotonergic profile, and has no effect in animals with absent 5-HT (hydroxytryptamine) profile.
