CTPB 是第一个已知的组蛋白乙酰转移酶 p300 的小分子激活剂。CTB 是 CTPB 的一种简化类似物，具有相当或更高的活性。该化合物激活 p300/EP300/E1A 结合蛋白的组蛋白乙酰转移酶 (HAT) 活性。
