α5-氰基-4-羟基肉桂酸是用于基质辅助激光解吸/电离飞行时间(MALDI-TOF)质谱的一种有用的疏水性基质溶液。[3]将其用作基质溶液,成功地分析了抗生素、肽核酸(一类新的DNA模拟物)和质量高达66,000 Da的蛋白。

    1. α-Cyano-4-hydroxycinnamic acid (α-CCA, α-CHCA, α-Cyano, 4-HCCA, ACCA) is soluble in methanol (up to 50 mg/ml). It is also soluble at 10 mg/ml using 50% acetonitrile in 0.05% TFA for MALDI-MS. The acetonitrile concentration can be adjusted for individual preferences.For biological applications, it has been solubilized at 100 mM in DMSO or 50 mM in ethanol.
