    1. We have not tested A3059 for specific use in ELISA. However, A3059 is considered to be essentially gamma-globulin free, which makes this more potentially useful in ELISA, by reducing a potential source of background.

    1. The fatty acid content of A3059 is not tested in quality control, and it is not reported on our Certificate of Analysis. We would not refer to this product as "fatty acid free".

    1. A3059 is not acetylated. We do not test for the presence of nucleases. Acetylated BSA products would be B2518 or B8894.

    1. We have not tested A3059 for specific use in immunoblotting as a blocking agent, in quality control. However, A3059 is considered to be essentially gamma-globulin free, which makes this more potentially useful in blotting experiments, by reducing a potential source of background.  The Technical Bulletin states that "Globulin free albumins are suitable for use in applications where no other proteins should be present".

    1. We have not tested A3059 for endotoxin content. Endotoxin-tested BSA products would include A4919, A9306, A9430, A2934, A9306, A9543, or A3675.
