Carbimazole is an orally administered thioimidazole drug, which is indicated for the management of hyperthyroidism as well as Grave′s disease in humans. It is used to facilitate the growth of animals for human consumption.[1]

應用

Carbimazole may be used as a pharmaceutical reference standard for the determination of the analyte in pharmaceutical formulations by chromatography techniques.[2][3][4]
