The In Vitro Vascular Permeability Assay is performed in a 96-well receiver plate with 96 cell culture inserts connected in a single tray unit. Because the inserts are interconnected, the risk of cross-contamination is significantly increased if only a subset of wells is used at a time. In addition, the collagen coating of unused wells may be compromised during incubation. For these reasons, we strongly recommend utilizing all inserts within a single experiment to ensure assay integrity and reproducibility.
