General description

Formed by the hydrolysis of ATP in tissue by adenosine triphosphatase. Rapidly converted back to ATP via oxidative phosphorylation in mitochondria. ε_max = 15.4 X 10³ ± 2% M^-1 cm^-1 (259 nm, in H₂O, pH 7.0)

Preparation Note
