一般描述

PPARδ（过氧化物酶体增殖物激活受体，δ 同种型）作为基因表达的一种转录因子，并在脂质代谢调节中发挥作用；该受体的活性受配体调节。2-溴十六烷酸是脂肪酸棕榈酸的代谢稳定的类似物，已被证明是 PPARδ 受体的天然配体。[1]2-溴十六烷酸也已被用在脂肪酸氧化、棕榈酰化和葡萄糖摄取的研究中。

生化/生理作用

溴十六烷酸是 PPARδ 激动剂。它还显示抑制脂肪酸氧化，抑制 DHHC 介导的棕榈酰化[2]，并促进大鼠心脏细胞和胰岛素敏感的鼠成纤维细胞系 A31-IS 中的葡萄糖摄取[3]。

    1. There is no indication that this product is light sensitive in solution. It is recommended that solutions be stored in aliquots at - 20 deg C for up to 1 month. Keep containers tightly sealed. Avoid repeated freeze/thaw cycles.
