For these products, the only date on the COA will be the release date; a retest, expiration, or use-by-date will not be displayed.
For all products, we recommend handling per defined conditions as printed in our product literature and website product descriptions. We recommend that products should be routinely inspected by customers to ensure they perform as expected.
For products without retest or expiration dates, our standard warranty of 1 year from the date of shipment is applicable.

How is shipping temperature determined? And how is it related to the product storage temperature?

Products may be shipped at a different temperature than the recommended long-term storage temperature. If the product quality is sensitive to short-term exposure to conditions other than the recommended long-term storage, it will be shipped on wet or dry-ice. If the product quality is NOT affected by short-term exposure to conditions other than the recommended long-term storage, it will be shipped at ambient temperature. As shipping routes are configured for minimum transit times, shipping at ambient temperature helps control shipping costs for our customers. Unless otherwise stated this product is intended for research use only and is not to be used for any other purpose, which includes but is not limited to, unauthorized commercial uses, in vitro diagnostic uses, ex vivo or in vivo therapeutic uses, or any type of consumption or application to humans or animals. For research purposes, in animal models or in vitro assays, the prepared solution would require filter sterilization.

Some research studies on the use of dichloroacetate as an anti-cancer agent have been performed. At this time, no dichloroacetate compound or product has been approved for use as an anti-cancer drug. The common salts of dichloroacetate are sodium and potassium, and these are what have been used in the research studies. The Sigma-Aldrich products 347795, Sodium Dichloroacetate, and 348082, Potassium Dichloroacetate, are offered for laboratory use only, and are not manufactured or intended for human use.
